Support Portal as well as our product roadmap.
OVERVIEW
The Hololight Space 2023.0.0.0. Update is a larger iterative version of Hololight Space. Its primary focus is on Object Import, UI/UX as well as Interaction.
NEW — Clients - Hololight Space Spectator companion client for iPad
NEW — Clients - Hololight Space (Client) application for Meta Quest 2
NEW — Compatibility - Hololight Space now supports Meta Quest 2
NEW — Hierarchy - New "Drop to Floor" allows objects to be placed on the origin level of the World Space
NEW — Hierarchy - New "Outline Mode" functionality for highlighting the skeleton of objects
NEW — Interaction - New "Invert Selection" option (replacing the former "Invert Selection" option)
NEW — Multi-User - Multi-user meetings are supported between AR + AR, AR + VR and VR + VR constellations (no limitations in how many devices connect between AR and VR)
NEW — Server - One single application supporting HoloLens 2 and Meta Quest 2
NEW — Tools - New "Lock" option for "Cross Section" primitives
NEW — UX - "Main Menu" has been revised and has been integrated into the Quick Tools Hand Menu
NEW — UX - "Show Main Menu at App Start" setting allows to activate/deactivate the Main Menu as desired
NEW — UX - "Show Hand Mesh" setting allows to activate/deactivate the display of the user hands
NEW — VR - VR Settings with different Surroundings (Studio, Factory)
NEW — VR - Hololight Space (Client) supporting Hand Tracking as well as Controller Input
NEW — VR - Hololight Space (Client) supporting "Teleport" functionality
IMPROVED — Hierarchy - Increased size of icons in the toolbar and descriptions in tooltips
IMPROVED — Hierarchy - New icon/button for "Align Object with QR code" and "X-Ray" functionality
IMPROVED — Tools - "Stack Objects" functionality using the relative Bounding Box sides
IMPROVED — UX - Menu (e.g. "File", "Interaction") windows now open in relation to their placement in the Main menu
IMPROVED — UX - Quick Tools Hand Menu comes with new customization modes
