Functionalities and Features of Hololight Space
Below, you will find a comprehensive overview of the features and functionalities offered by our Hololight Space product line-up.
This guide refers to:
- Hololight Space LT for Microsoft HoloLens 2
- Hololight Space for Microsoft HoloLens 2 (on-prem and cloud)
- Hololight Space for Meta Quest 2 (on-prem and cloud)
- Hololight Space for Meta Quest 3 (on-prem and cloud)
- Hololight Space for Magic Leap 2 (on-prem and cloud)
- Hololight Space Spectator for Apple iPad Pro

Due to technical limitations, the QR code scanning functionality cannot be used on Meta Quest devices. Magic Leap 2 will support the connection via QR-Code in the future. Apart from QR code scanning for connection purposes, QR code scanning can generally be used in Magic Leap 2. Microsoft HoloLens 2 supports all QR code scanning.
Connectivity (Server – Client)
Please be aware that Hololight Space LT is a standalone version (no server application needed) and only available for the Microsoft HoloLens 2.

The cloud licensing system differs itself from its on-premises counterpart by eliminating the requirement for the scanning or reading of license tokens.
